Walk-in Interview Schedule :
Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are required to appear for the walk-in interview as per the schedule mentioned below. The registration process will be conducted strictly between 09:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs on the respective dates. Candidates reporting after the stipulated time will not be considered for registration or further selection.
Junior Technical Assistant / Mechanical : 08-06-2026 (Monday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Quality Inspector : 09-06-2026 (Tuesday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Technician (Welder) : 09-06-2026 (Tuesday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Technician (EOT Operator) : 09-06-2026 (Tuesday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Technician (Fitter) : 10-06-2026 (Wednesday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Vehicle Driver : 11-06-2026 (Thursday) ; 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.

Autonagar, Vadlapudi, Gajuwaka,
Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must strictly satisfy all eligibility requirements as of the cut-off date 01-05-2026. Candidates should ensure they meet the prescribed qualifications and experience before appearing for the walk-in interview. Applications with incomplete, unclear, or invalid qualifications will not be considered.

Qualification and Experience Requirements :
Junior Technical Assistant / Mechanical.
Candidates must possess a full-time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production & Industrial / Automobile / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience is required, preferably in workshops or manufacturing industries.

Quality Inspector :
Full-time Degree in Mechanical / Production & Industrial / Automobile / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute. At least 1 year of experience in inspection or quality assurance is required, preferably in manufacturing or railway rolling stock activities.

Technician (Welder) :
ITI in Welding trade or valid Welder Qualification Certificate (ISO standard). Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in mechanical or industrial sectors is required.

Technician (Fitter) :
ITI certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or government-approved technical institution. Minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience is required.

Technician (EOT Operator) :
Minimum qualification is 10th pass or ITI certificate. Experience of 2 years (ITI holders) or 4 years (10th pass candidates) in EOT crane operations is required.

Vehicle Driver :
10th pass with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license issued by RTO. Minimum 2 years of driving experience is required.

Lister / Forklift Operator :
ITI certificate from a recognized institute. Minimum 2 years of experience in forklift or lister operation is required. Forklift driving license must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.

Hydra Operator :
ITI qualification is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in Hydra crane operations is necessary. Valid driving license to be obtained within 3 months of joining.

Office Boy / Helper / Khalasi :
Minimum qualification is 10th pass with physical fitness for general support, housekeeping, and maintenance duties. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Age Criteria & Relaxation :
The maximum age limit is 50 years as on 01-05-2026 for all posts.
General / EWS: Maximum 50 years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation of 3 years (up to 53 years).
SC / ST: Relaxation of 5 years (up to 55 years).
Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable Government rules (discretionary).

Remuneration Structure :
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary inclusive of Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance, and Mobile Allowance. Salary varies based on A, B, and C category cities.
Annual increment of 4% on consolidated pay may be granted after completion of each year, subject to KRCL requirements and approval.
Junior Technical Assistant : ₹41,380 – ₹47,220.
Quality Inspector & Technicians (all trades) & Drivers : ₹27,100 – ₹30,900.
Office Boy / Helper / Khalasi : ₹25,700 – ₹29,300.
Additional Benefits ;
Employees are eligible for insurance, gratuity, and bonus as per applicable labour laws. Travel allowance, railway duty passes, and accommodation reimbursement (as per KRCL policy) are also applicable. Leave benefits include earned leave, casual leave, weekly offs, and public holidays as per rules.

Selection Methodology :
Selection will be carried out through a walk-in interview process.
Initial Scrutiny: Verification of eligibility and documents.
Screening Stage (if required): Written test or group discussion based on number of applicants.
Final Interview: Evaluation by a selection committee based on merit, qualification, and experience.
The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding.

Application Procedure :
Eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview in person. No online or postal application is required.
Applicants must bring the duly filled application form (Annexure-A) along with required documents.
Registration will be conducted strictly between 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the scheduled date. Late arrivals will not be entertained.

Documents Required :
Candidates must submit self-attested copies along with originals for verification ;
Educational qualification certificates.
Date of birth proof (SSLC/Birth Certificate).
Caste certificate (if applicable).
Experience certificates.
Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable).
Valid driving/forklift license (if applicable).
Two recent passport-size photographs.
Character certificate issued by a Gazetted/Executive Officer.

General Terms & Conditions :
Candidates must ensure eligibility before appearing for interview.
No travel allowance or reimbursement will be provided.
Engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent employment.
Posting can be anywhere under KRCL jurisdiction.
Contract may be terminated with or without notice as per terms.
Misrepresentation or false documents will lead to immediate termination and legal action.
Selected candidates must join within 30 days of offer.
A security bond of ₹50,000 is mandatory.
KRCL reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
