The Karnataka Examination Authority, KEA, has released the KEA Land Surveyor Recruitment 2026 notification for the recruitment of Surveyor, Bhoomapaka, Group-C posts under the Department of Land Records, Survey Settlement and Land Records, Government of Karnataka. A total of 750 Land Surveyor vacancies have been announced through two separate recruitment notifications.
The vacancies include 560 posts under the Regular or State Cadre and 190 posts under the Kalyana-Karnataka Local Cadre under Article 371(J). Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the KEA CET portal.
The online application process started on 11 July 2026. Candidates applying for the KEA Surveyor Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the nationality, educational qualification, age, and other conditions prescribed in the notification.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Land Surveyor Recruitment 2026 Age Limit :
The minimum age required for the Surveyor post is 18 years. The maximum age varies according to the candidate's category.
General or Unreserved Candidates: Maximum 40 years.
Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B: Maximum 43 years.
SC, ST and Category-1: Maximum 45 years.
Age is calculated as on the last date of online application submission. Additional relaxation is available for eligible government or local-body employees, ex-servicemen, National Cadet Corps full-time supervisors, Gram Samuha Parishilakar candidates, special pay candidates and widows, as prescribed in the detailed notification.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Land Surveyor Recruitment 2026 Salary :
Selected candidates appointed as Surveyor will receive the 2024 Revised State Pay Scale of ₹37,500 to ₹76,100 per month.

The selection process consists of a competitive written examination followed by applicable qualifying tests, document verification and departmental training.
