Eligibility Criteria :
Professor : Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant or allied branch of Engineering and Technology along with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Candidates should have at least 10 years of teaching or research experience, including 5 years as an Assistant Professor, and must possess a minimum consolidated API score of 400.
Associate Professor : Candidates should have a Ph.D. in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. A minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience at the Assistant Professor level and a consolidated API score of 300 are required.
Assistant Professor : Applicants must have a Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech / M.E./M.Tech in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.
General Requirements :
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Candidates must be proficient in Bengali and English, which are used as the medium of instruction. The Ph.D. degree should be awarded by a recognized university or by a foreign university ranked within the top 500 globally.
Age Limit :
Maximum Age: 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
Age Relaxation :
SC/ST : 5 years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years.
Differently-abled Candidates : 10 years.
