A medical qualification listed in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Plus the specific postgraduate degree and experience/publications for your chosen post.

Professor Posts :

Professor – Cardiology :
Postgraduate: Cardiology (or equivalent).
Experience: 4 years as Associate Professor, or 6 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Professor – Anaesthesia :
Postgraduate: MD in Anaesthesia (or equivalent).
Experience: 9 years teaching in Anaesthesia after MD.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Professor – Gastroenterology :
Postgraduate: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) + DM in Medical Gastroenterology.
Experience: 4 years as Associate Professor, or 6 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Professor – Nephrology :
Postgraduate: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) + DM in Nephrology.
Experience: 4 years as Associate Professor, or 6 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Professor – Neurology :
Postgraduate: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) + DM in Neurology.
Experience: 4 years as Associate Professor, or 6 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Professor – Radiology :
Postgraduate: MD in Radiology (or equivalent).
Experience: 9 years teaching in Radiology after MD.
Publications: 8 total (4 National + 4 International).

Associate Professor Posts :

Associate Professor – Gastroenterology :
Postgraduate: MD + DM in Medical Gastroenterology.
Experience: 2 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 4 total (2 National + 2 International), mandatory.

Associate Professor – Nephrology :
Postgraduate: MD + DM in Nephrology.
Experience: 2 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 4 total (2 National + 2 International), mandatory.

Associate Professor – Neurology :
Postgraduate: MD + DM in Neurology.
Experience: 2 years as Assistant Professor.
Publications: 4 total (2 National + 2 International), mandatory.

Associate Professor – Radiology :
Postgraduate: MD in Radiology (or equivalent).
Experience: 5 years teaching in Radiology after MD.
Publications: 4 total (2 National + 2 International).

Assistant Professor Posts :

Assistant Professor – Anaesthesia :
Postgraduate: MD in Anaesthesia (or equivalent).
Experience: 3 years teaching in Anaesthesia after MD.

Assistant Professor – Gastroenterology :
Postgraduate: MD + DM in Medical Gastroenterology.
No specific experience required.

Assistant Professor – Nephrology :
Postgraduate: MD + DM in Nephrology.
No specific experience required.

Assistant Professor – Radiology :
Postgraduate: MD in Radiology (or equivalent).
Experience: 3 years teaching in Radiology after MD.

Specialist Grade-III Posts :

Specialist Gr. III – Cardiology :
Postgraduate: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) + DM in Cardiology (or equivalent).

Specialist Gr. III – CTVS :
MS in General Surgery + MCh (CTVS) or DNB (CTVS) (or equivalent).

Specialist Gr. III – Neurology :
Postgraduate: MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) + DM in Neurology (or equivalent).

Specialist Gr. III – Neurosurgery :
MS in General Surgery + MCh (Neurosurgery) or DNB (Neurosurgery) (or equivalent).

Specialist Gr. III – Nuclear Medicine :
Postgraduate: MNAMS or DNB in Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent).
Experience: 3 years in Nuclear Medicine after postgraduation.

Specialist Gr. III – Oncology :
MBBS (recognized).
Postgraduate: MD/DNB in Medical Oncology.

Specialist Gr. III – Radiology :
Postgraduate: MD in Radiology (or equivalent).
Experience: 3 years Senior Residency in Radiology after MD.

Application Fee :
Unreserved : ₹1,000.
OBC / SC / ST : ₹500.

Age Limit :
Professor : 60 years.
Associate Professor : 50 years.
Assistant Professor : 45 years.
Specialist Grade-III : 45 years.

Salary :
Professor : ₹3,05,000 (all allowances included).
Associate Professor : ₹2,55,000 (all allowances included).
Assistant Professor : ₹1,95,000 (all allowances included).
Specialist Grade-III : Level 11: ₹67,700 + allowances.
