Educational Qualifications :
Engineering / Technology Disciplines
Candidates must possess:
B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent,
OR
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
For Dress Design & Garment Manufacturing and Interior Design, the minimum qualifications shall be the same as prescribed for Engineering/Technology disciplines.
Science & Humanities Disciplines ;
Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with First Class or equivalent,
Must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET or an equivalent examination such as SLET/SET.
Experience :
Teaching or Post-Doctoral experience will be given due weightage during selection (02 marks per completed year, as applicable).
Pay Scale :
Level 9A: ₹56,100/- (Entry Pay).
Level 10: ₹57,700/- (Entry Pay).
As per the applicable Pay Matrix of the State Government.
Age Criteria (As on 01-08-2025) :
There is no minimum age limit for applying.
Maximum Age: 65 years.
The retirement age for Lecturers in Government Polytechnic and Government Women Polytechnic Institutes is 65 years.
