Eligibility Criteria :
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. All eligibility conditions including age, qualification, and experience will be determined as on the cut-off date 27-04-2026. Engagement is subject to satisfactory medical fitness as prescribed by IRCTC.
Selected candidates must submit a security deposit of ₹25,000/- (Demand Draft payable at Kolkata) at the time of engagement. Working knowledge of MS Office, report preparation, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills is desirable.

Educational Qualification :
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution ;
B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from institutes affiliated to NCHMCT / UGC / AICTE / Government of India.
BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism.
B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from a recognized university approved by UGC / AICTE / State or Central Government.
MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from a recognized university approved by UGC / AICTE / State or Central Government.

Age Limit :
Age will be calculated as on 27-04-2026, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
UR : 27 years.
OBC : 30 years.
SC/ST : 32 years.
PwBD : 37 years.
Job Responsibilities.
The selected Hospitality Monitor will be responsible for ;
Monitoring food quality, production, and service standards in catering units.
Ensuring adherence to IRCTC hospitality guidelines and procedures.
Managing manpower and resources effectively in assigned units.
Handling passenger grievances and resolving complaints efficiently.
Collecting and analyzing customer feedback for service improvement.
Ensuring compliance with applicable statutory regulations.
Supervising staff performance and equipment maintenance.
Coordinating with departments and stakeholders for smooth operations.
Performing additional duties assigned by IRCTC from time to time.

Selection Process :
Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview only, based on candidate credentials.
Final selection will be made on the basis of personal interview performance, followed by document verification and medical fitness assessment.
This engagement is purely contractual in nature and does not guarantee permanent employment in IRCTC.
Stage 1 : Submission of duly filled application form (as per prescribed format).
Stage 2 : Walk-in interview at IRCTC Zonal Office, Kolkata on 18, 19, or 20 May 2026.
Stage 3 : Personal interview based on eligibility and credentials.
Stage 4 : Document verification and medical fitness test.
Stage 5 :mFinal selection and submission of ₹25,000 security deposit.

How to Apply :
Eligible candidates must appear directly for the walk-in interview on 18th, 19th, or 20th May 2026 (10:30 AM to 04:30 PM) at ;
IRCTC Zonal Office, 3 Koilaghat Street, Ground Floor, Kolkata – 700001.
No online application is required.
Candidates must carry a duly filled application form (as per notification format).
Original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies must be produced.
Three recent passport-size photographs are required.
Candidates employed in Government/PSUs must provide NOC or relieving letter at the time of interview or upon selection.

Documents Required :
10th and 12th certificates and mark sheets.
Graduation mark sheets and degree certificates (all semesters).
Postgraduate certificates (if applicable).
Experience certificates (in chronological order).
Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC – OBC must be Non-Creamy Layer and valid).
EWS / PwBD certificate (if applicable).
Three passport-size photographs.
Duly filled application form.

This engagement is purely contractual and does not confer permanent employment.

Medical fitness is mandatory for final engagement.
Security deposit of ₹25,000/- (DD payable at Kolkata) is required.
Contract period: 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on performance.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Candidates must make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
False information will lead to immediate disqualification.
