Chandigarh : IRCTC Regional Office, Sector 34-A ; 15–16 June 2026 ; 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM.
Jaipur : IRCTC Regional Office, Jeevan Prakash Building ; 18–19 June 2026 ; 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM.
Lucknow : IRCTC Regional Office, Gomti Nagar ; 23–24 June 2026 ; 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM.
Candidates are permitted to attend the interview at only one venue as per their convenience.

Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must satisfy all prescribed eligibility conditions as on 01-05-2026. Only Indian citizens are eligible to participate in the recruitment process. Candidates possessing the required educational qualifications may apply even if they do not have prior professional experience, as freshers are also eligible.
Before applying or attending the walk-in interview, candidates should ensure that they meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for the post.

Educational Qualification :
B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration Full-time degree from CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated with NCHMCT, UGC, AICTE, or Government of India
OR
BBA / MBA (Culinary Arts) Qualification obtained from Indian Culinary Institutes functioning under the Ministry of Tourism
OR
B.Sc. in Hotel Management & Catering Science Degree from Government-recognized universities/institutions approved by UGC/AICTE
OR
MBA in Tourism & Hotel Management Degree from recognized universities/institutions approved by Government authorities.

Experience Requirement :
Candidates with the prescribed academic qualification can apply irrespective of prior work experience. Freshers are also eligible for consideration.

Preferred Skills :
Working knowledge of computers and MS Office applications.
Ability to prepare reports and maintain records.
Good communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Age Limit :
The upper age limit for candidates belonging to the Unreserved category is 27 years as on 01-05-2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Unreserved (UR) : 27 years.
SC / ST Relaxation of : 5 years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : Relaxation of 3 years.
PwBD Relaxation of : 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen Defence service period plus : 3 years.

Remuneration and Benefits :
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration package of ₹30,000 including statutory deductions. In addition, eligible allowances and reimbursements will be provided according to IRCTC policies.
Component Details ;
Monthly CTC ₹30,000.
Daily Allowance ₹350 per day during on-board train duty.
Lodging Reimbursement ₹240 for eligible outstation night stay.
National Holiday Allowance Payable as per applicable policy.
Medical Insurance Reimbursement facility subject to valid documents.
Security Deposit ₹25,000 Demand Draft payable to IRCTC Ltd., New Delhi.

Selection Process :
Recruitment will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview process. Candidates are required to submit the prescribed application form at the interview venue along with supporting documents.
Selection will be based on ;
Verification of educational qualifications and supporting documents.
Performance in the personal interview.
Merit position and availability of vacancies.
Final engagement will be subject to satisfactory medical fitness and background verification.

Job Responsibilities :
Selected Hospitality Monitors will supervise catering and hospitality services across trains and IRCTC-operated catering units. Major responsibilities include ;
Monitoring food preparation and service quality
Ensuring adherence to hygiene and hospitality standards.
Supervising catering staff and operational arrangements.
Handling passenger feedback and complaint resolution.
Coordinating with departments and service partners for smooth functioning.

Carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
Bring two recent passport-size photographs.
Candidates employed in Government departments or PSUs should produce an NOC or relieving letter if selected.
No separate online application process is prescribed for this recruitment.

Documents Required at Walk-in Interview :
Candidates should carry the following documents in original along with self-attested photocopies ;
10th and 12th certificates/mark sheets.
Graduation and Postgraduation mark sheets/certificates.
Experience certificates, if applicable.
Category/EWS/PwBD certificates, if applicable.
Identity proof and address proof.
Two passport-size photographs.
Any additional relevant supporting documents.
Candidates failing to produce original documents may not be permitted to participate in the interview process.

Important Instructions :
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
The engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent absorption in IRCTC.
Freshers with the required educational qualifications are eligible.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
Selected candidates must furnish a security deposit of ₹25,000.
OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
Submission of incorrect or false information may lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
