Eligibility Details :
Applicants must carefully review the eligibility requirements for the respective post before applying. It is mandatory for all rehabilitation professionals to be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Educational Qualifications :
Rehabilitation Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist:
Candidates should possess M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Psychology, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, or a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university approved by RCI.
Senior Prosthetist/Orthotist :
Bachelor’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an RCI-recognized institute is required.
Vocational Counselor-cum-Computer Assistant :
Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation, Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling, or Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science from an RCI-recognized institution. Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
Early Intervention Therapist :
Postgraduate Diploma in Developmental Therapy or Early Intervention, Bachelor in Mental Retardation, Bachelor/Master in Rehabilitation Science, or M.Sc. in Early Intervention from an RCI-recognized institution.
Application Fee :
All applicants must submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 in favour of Chairperson, IRCS, District Branch Kullu, payable at PNB Dhalpur Branch, Kullu. The application fee is non-refundable.
Age Criteria (as on 01-03-2026) :
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 45 years.
A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Widow/Divorcee/Ex-Serviceman candidates belonging to Himachal Pradesh as per applicable rules.
Salary Structure :
Selected candidates will receive the following consolidated monthly remuneration :
Rehabilitation Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist – Rs. 24,600 per month.
Senior Prosthetist / Orthotist – Rs. 24,600 per month.
Vocational Counselor-cum-Computer Assistant – Rs. 17,400 per month.
Early Intervention Therapist – Rs. 17,400 per month.
