IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Educational Qualification :
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Graduation results should have been declared on or before 31 July 2026.
Candidates registered under NATS must have completed graduation between 01 March 2022 and 31 July 2026.
Candidates must produce original mark sheets, provisional certificates, or degree certificates during document verification.

IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Age Limit :
Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.
Minimum Age: 20 Years.
Maximum Age: 28 Years for General and EWS candidates.
Date of Birth should fall between 01 July 1998 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Candidates registered under NAPS should be below 34 years, after applicable relaxation.
Age Relaxation
SC/ST: 5 Years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years.

IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Stipend :
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on the category of the branch where they are posted.

Monthly Stipend :
Metro Branches: ₹15,500 per month.
Urban Branches: ₹14,500 per month.
Semi-Urban/Rural Branches: ₹14,000 per month.
Bank's Contribution under NATS
Metro Branch: ₹9,350.
Urban Branch: ₹8,350.
Semi-Urban/Rural Branch: ₹7,850.
Government Contribution
Government of India will directly transfer ₹6,150 per month to eligible NATS apprentices through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Apprentices are not entitled to DA, HRA, medical benefits, pension, or any other employee benefits.

IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Important Instructions :
Candidates should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier with IOB or any other organization.
Applicants having one year or more of work experience after obtaining the qualifying degree are not eligible.
Apprentices will undergo training for one year and will not be treated as regular employees of the Bank.
No guarantee of permanent employment will be provided after successful completion of apprenticeship.
Apprentices are eligible for 12 days of Casual Leave during the apprenticeship period.
No reservation is available for Ex-servicemen in this engagement process.
Furnishing false information, fake certificates, or incorrect documents will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.
