IIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications and relevant work experience as prescribed for the respective post.
Sr. Project Assistant (Admin.) : candidates should have a Graduate Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Business Management along with 8 years of administrative experience in educational institutions.

Principal Project Scientist : applicants should possess a Ph.D., M.Tech., M.Sc., MS(R.), or equivalent qualification with the prescribed research or professional experience.

Project Scientist : candidates must have a B.Tech., M.Sc., M.C.A., or Postgraduate Degree in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.

Sr. Project Scientist : applicants should hold an M.Tech., MS(R.), MCA, or equivalent qualification, or a B.Tech./M.Sc./Postgraduate Degree with relevant experience.

Sr. Project Assistant (Tech.) : candidates should possess a B.Tech., B.E., AMIE, Technical Diploma, or Graduate Degree with the required work experience. Candidates with an ITI qualification and extensive experience may also be considered as per the notification.

Research Associate-II and Research Associate-III : require a Ph.D., MD, MS, MDS, or equivalent qualification, or M.Tech./ME/MVSc./M.Pharm with three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience along with at least one SCI journal publication.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : candidates should possess a Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science with NET, a Graduate Degree in a Professional Course with NET, or a Postgraduate Degree in a Professional Course.

Principal Project Scientist – ₹75,600 to ₹1,01,610 per month + 30% HRA.
Project Scientist – ₹47,790 to ₹62,350 per month + 30% HRA.
Sr. Project Scientist – ₹60,750 to ₹79,260 per month + 30% HRA.
Sr. Project Assistant (Tech.) – ₹47,790 to ₹62,350 per month + 30% HRA.
Research Associate-II – ₹61,000 per month + 30% HRA.
Research Associate-III – ₹67,000 per month + 30% HRA.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – ₹37,000 per month + 30% HRA.
Salary and allowances will be governed by IIT Delhi norms and the terms of the respective sponsored project.
