Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course Recruitment 2026 :
Indian Army has officially released the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027) notification inviting online applications from unmarried women for Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) under the NCC Special Entry Scheme.
The recruitment is open to unmarried women holding a valid NCC 'C' Certificate as well as Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel.
Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants after successfully completing 49 weeks of Pre-Commission Training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
A total of 06 vacancies have been announced, including 05 vacancies for NCC 'C' Certificate holders and 01 vacancy reserved for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel.

The online application process begins on 21 July 2026 (1500 hrs) and the last date to apply online is 21 August 2026 (1500 hrs) through the official Indian Army recruitment portal.
Candidates will be selected through application shortlisting, Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview, Medical Examination, Merit List, and final joining.
During training, selected candidates will receive a fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month, and after commissioning they will be appointed as Lieutenant under Pay Level-10 of the Defence Pay Matrix.

The Indian Army has invited applications from eligible unmarried women graduates for grant of Short Service Commission through the NCC Special Entry Scheme.
Candidates possessing the prescribed NCC qualifications can directly apply without appearing in the Combined Defence Services Examination.
Separate provision has been made for eligible Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army personnel.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification :
For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders :
Candidates must possess :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University.
Final-year students may also apply subject to completion of degree before commencement of training.
Minimum two or three years' service in Senior Division/Wing of NCC, wherever applicable.
Minimum 'B' Grade in NCC 'C' Certificate Examination.
Valid NCC 'C' Certificate on the closing date of application.
Provisional NCC 'C' Certificates are not accepted.

Important Conditions :
Candidates can appear for only one SSB Interview, either through :
CDSE Entry, OR
NCC Special Entry.
Undertaking regarding single SSB appearance must be submitted in the online application.
Eligibility for Wards of Battle Casualties
The following candidates are eligible :
Unmarried Sons.
Unmarried Daughters.
Legally Adopted Children.
They must belong to Indian Army personnel who were :
Killed in Action.
Died due to battle injuries.
Wounded during battle.
Missing and presumed dead.

Educational Qualification :
Graduation from a recognized University.
Final-year students may also apply as per notification conditions.

NCC Requirement :
NCC 'C' Certificate is not required for this category.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course Recruitment 2026 Age Limit :
Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.
Minimum Age :

Candidates should have been born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation Certificate shall be treated as final.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course Recruitment 2026 Physical Standards :
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed physical standards before joining OTA.
Minimum Physical Standards :
2.4 Km Run: 13 Minutes.
Push-ups: 15.
Pull-ups: 02.
Sit-ups: 25.
Squats: Two sets of 30 repetitions.
Lunges: Two sets of 10 repetitions.
Swimming: Candidates should know basic swimming.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions :
Only unmarried women fulfilling all eligibility conditions should apply.
Candidates must possess a valid NCC 'C' Certificate before the application closing date.
Provisional NCC Certificates are not accepted.
Only one application is permitted.
Candidates cannot modify their application after final submission.
Names and Date of Birth must exactly match the Matriculation Certificate.
Candidates cannot marry during the training period at OTA.
Government bears the training cost; however, candidates withdrawn for personal reasons may be required to refund training expenses as per Army rules.
Candidates already serving in the Armed Forces must inform their Commanding Officer before appearing for the SSB.
