Candidates should possess the following qualifications :
Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree.
Three-year professional LLB after Graduation or five-year integrated LLB after 10+2.
Degree must be recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
Candidates should be eligible for registration as an Advocate under the Bar Council of India or State Bar Council.
Candidates pursuing or possessing LLM must also have a valid CLAT PG 2026 score.
CLAT PG scores of previous years will not be accepted.
Indian Army JAG Age Limit 2026 :
Candidates should fulfill the prescribed age criteria.
Age Requirements :
Minimum Age: 21 Years.
Maximum Age: 27 Years.
Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.
Candidates should be born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Indian Army JAG Salary & Pay Scale 2026 :
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package along with various military allowances.
Salary Benefits :
Training Stipend: ₹56,100 per month.
Rank after Training: Lieutenant.
Pay Level: Level-10.
Basic Pay: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500.
Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month.
Approximate Annual CTC: ₹17–18 Lakhs.
