Eligibility Criteria :
Stream 1 : Medical Assistant Trade (10+2 Candidates) :
Candidate must be unmarried.
Date of birth should be between 01 July 2006 and 01 July 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Maximum age at the time of enrolment: 21 years.

Stream 2 : Medical Assistant (Pharmacist) Trade - Diploma/B.Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy
Unmarried candidates: Date of birth should be between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Married candidates: Date of birth should be between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Maximum age at the time of enrolment: 24 years.

Educational Qualification :
For 10+2 Candidates :
Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent with ;
Physics.
Chemistry.
Biology.
English.
Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English are required.
Candidates with a two-year vocational course are also eligible, provided they have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as non-vocational subjects with the same marks criteria.

For Diploma / B.Pharma / B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates :
Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English are required.
Must possess ;
Diploma in Pharmacy, or
B.Pharma, or
B.Sc in Pharmacy.
Pharmacy qualification should have at least 50% aggregate marks.
Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council or PCI is mandatory at the time of enrolment.
Aggregate percentage will be considered exactly as mentioned on the marksheet. No rounding off is allowed.

Job Profile of a Medical Assistant in the Indian Air Force :
Trained in nursing and first-aid.
Assists in ;
Medical store management.
Dispensary operations.
Ward supervision.
Healthcare support services.
Performs additional duties assigned by superior officers.

Tenure and Training Details :
Initial enrolment period: 20 years.
Service may be extended up to 57 years subject to service conditions.
Training includes ;
Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT).
Trade-specific training.
Security training, if applicable.
Trade allotted after enrolment cannot be changed.
Candidates cannot stay with family during training.
Unmarried candidates cannot marry until completion of ab-initio training.

Selection Process :
Phase I: Online Written Test ;
Duration: 45 minutes.
Subjects ;
English.
Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA).
Marking Scheme ;
+1 for each correct answer.
0 for unanswered questions.
-0.25 for each wrong answer.
Candidates must qualify in each paper separately.
Marks may be normalised across sessions.
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test and Document Verification ;
PFT includes ;
10 Push-ups.
10 Sit-ups.
20 Squats.
Candidates clearing PFT appear for ;
Adaptability Test-I.
Adaptability Test-II.
Educational and other documents are verified during this phase.
Phase III: Medical Examination ;
Conducted by the Air Force Medical Team.
Includes ;
Blood tests.
Urine examination.
Blood sugar test.
RFT and LFT.
Chest X-ray.
ECG.
Medically unfit candidates can apply for an Appeal Medical Board within 3 working days by paying Rs. 40/-.

Phase-II Admit Card (colour printout).
Original Phase-I Admit Card.
Printed online application form.
HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler and black/blue pen.
Eight passport-size photographs.
Original and four self-attested copies of ;
Matriculation certificate.
10+2 certificates and marksheets.
Diploma/B.Pharma/B.Sc Pharmacy certificates and marksheets.
NCC certificate, if applicable.
NOC from employer, if applicable.
Discharge Certificate for ex-servicemen, if applicable.

Important General Instructions :
Select five examination cities and fourteen ASC choices in order of preference.
Requests for change of exam centre or date will not be accepted.
Mobile phones, smart watches and electronic gadgets are prohibited during testing.
Candidates discharged from the Indian Air Force are not eligible.
