IIT Gandhinagar Postdoctoral Researcher Recruitment 2026

Postdoctoral Researcher Position :
We invite applications from outstanding researchers seeking to contribute to advanced scientific investigations in Earth and allied engineering sciences.

Eligibility Requirements :
Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline from a reputed institution, supported by a strong publication record.
Candidates who have submitted their doctoral thesis may also apply.
Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from Graduation onwards.
Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Class 10 and 12 examinations.
Practical experience in rock deformation experiments or molecular structural characterization techniques will be considered an advantage.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, independent research capability, and the ability to work in a collaborative research environment.

Fellowship Details :
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher
Consolidated Fellowship: ₹72,000/- to ₹84,000/- per month
Final fellowship amount will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and merit.
