Educational Qualification:
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent performance in the preceding degree in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Oceanography, or a related field.
Mandatory Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate research experience in studying extreme weather and climate events, supported by their doctoral thesis work and relevant scientific publications.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in English communication (written and spoken).
Working knowledge of Python and/or R for climate data processing and analysis.
Preferred Qualification:
Hands-on experience in climate modelling will be considered an added advantage.
Age Criteria :
No upper or lower age limit has been specified for this position.
SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks as per applicable guidelines.
Salary & Benefits :
Consolidated fellowship ranging from ₹75,600 to ₹1,01,610 per month.
House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 30%.
