IISER Mohali Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements as on 15 June 2026. Only full-time regular degrees from recognized institutions are accepted. Qualifications obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or part-time mode will not be considered.
Applicants must fulfill both educational qualification and relevant work experience criteria as specified for each post. Possession of higher qualifications does not automatically guarantee shortlisting. All claims regarding education and experience must be supported by valid documents.
The institute may relax experience requirements in exceptional cases for candidates with outstanding academic records or specialized skills.

Application Fee :
UR / OBC-NCL: ₹1,298 (including GST).
EWS: ₹708 (including GST).
SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/Female: Exempted.
Fee must be paid online and is non-refundable. Separate fee is required for each post applied.

Age Limit :
Age will be calculated as on 15 June 2026. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen and IISER Mohali employees.

Selection Process :
The recruitment process will include multiple stages such as ;
Scrutiny of applications.
Written Test / Skill Test / Interview (as applicable to the post).
Final evaluation by the Selection Committee.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further stages of selection.

Key points :
Relaxation is applicable as per category rules.
Multiple relaxations cannot be combined.
Valid certificates must be submitted for claiming relaxation.

Applications must be submitted online only through the official IISER Mohali recruitment portal. No offline applications will be accepted.
Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.

Documents Required :
Applicants must upload and produce the following documents ;
Educational certificates and mark sheets.
Experience certificates with detailed service history.
Category certificates (if applicable).
EWS/OBC-NCL certificates (valid as per rules).
NOC from current employer (if applicable).
Identity proof and passport-size photograph.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Higher qualifications must be clearly disclosed.
Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice.
