Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates applying for the IIPS Recruitment 2026 must possess advanced academic qualifications along with extensive experience in research, survey management, or senior-level administration depending on the post. Applicants should carefully ensure they meet all eligibility requirements, including educational background, experience, and technical expertise, before attending the walk-in interview.

Educational Qualification and Experience :

Chief Research Officer : PhD in Demography / Mathematics / Statistics / Biostatistics with 10 years experience OR M.Tech / Master’s in Computer Applications with 10 years experience in large-scale surveys. Working knowledge of CsPro is essential.

Senior Project Officer (Establishment & Procurement) : Postgraduate degree/diploma in any discipline + retired from Central Government Level 12 or above + 10 years senior management experience + age not exceeding 65 years.

Junior Research Officer (Report Writing) : M.Phil in Demography / Mathematics / Statistics / Social Sciences / Public Health / Biostatistics / Survey Research / Data Analytics.

Desirable Skills :
Experience in large-scale survey data handling and management.
Proficiency in statistical tools such as STATA, SPSS, SAS, and CsPro.
Knowledge of Python programming for data analysis (preferred).
Familiarity with Government of India administrative rules and procedures.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication abilities.

Age Limit :
The upper age limit for all positions under IIPS Recruitment 2026 is fixed as per institutional norms. However, relaxation in qualifications and experience may be considered in exceptional cases.
Maximum Age Limit: 65 Years.
Final eligibility relaxation decisions will be at the discretion of the institute.

Salary :
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration based on experience, expertise, and post requirements.
All Posts : Rs. 1,26,000/- (Fixed, based on experience).
