Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on 08 May 2026. Only full-time regular qualifications from recognized institutions are accepted. Degrees obtained through distance learning, correspondence, or part-time mode are not eligible.
Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA/LLB or equivalent are strictly not eligible. Any suppression of higher qualification details may lead to disqualification at any stage of recruitment or service.
Candidates with diploma obtained through approved lateral entry schemes may also be considered, subject to fulfillment of prescribed academic percentage criteria.

Educational Qualification & Apprenticeship Requirement :
Diploma in Chemical Engineering (AICTE approved) : 60% (Gen/OBC), 55% (SC/ST) ; 1-year apprenticeship in Fertilizer / Heavy Chemical / Petroleum Refinery / Petrochemical industries.
B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) : 55% (Gen/OBC), 50% (SC/ST) ; 1-year apprenticeship in the same eligible industries

Important Notes :
Apprenticeship must be completed or completing by 30 April 2026.
Only specified disciplines are eligible ; other branches/subjects are not considered.

Age Limit (as on 30 April 2026) :
General (UR): 18 to 27 years.
SC/ST: Up to 32 years (5 years relaxation).
OBC (NCL): Up to 30 years (3 years relaxation).
IFFCO dependent/ex-apprentice categories: 3 years relaxation.
Age proof must be supported by a valid 10th/12th certificate only.

Application Fee :

Training & Pay Structure.
Training Period: 1 year.
Stipend: ₹31,000 per month + applicable allowances.
After successful completion ;
Grade: L0.
Pay Scale: ₹34,000 – ₹64,000.
Basic Pay: ₹34,000 + allowances.

Selection Process :
Online Test.
Interview.
Both stages will be conducted at IFFCO Paradeep Unit, Odisha.
