Educational Qualification and Experience:
Applicants with an M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology must possess at least 10 years of professional experience after completion of their Master’s degree in areas such as molecular diagnostics, implementation of public health programmes, and disease surveillance systems. Among this, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in infectious disease surveillance is mandatory,
OR
Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Microbiology or Biotechnology should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant post-Master’s experience in molecular diagnostics, public health initiatives, and surveillance systems, including at least 2 years dedicated to infectious disease surveillance.
The experience claimed must be directly related to the specified functional areas.
Age Criteria :
Minimum Age: 40 years.
Maximum Age: 70 years.
Relaxation in age, if applicable, will be provided as per ICMR rules and government guidelines.
Remuneration :
Consolidated monthly salary of ₹1,25,000/-.
