Age Limit:
Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009.
Maximum age at enrolment: 21 years.
Marital Status:
Only unmarried males are eligible.
Marriage during the four-year engagement period is not permitted and will result in discharge.
Educational Qualification:
Science Stream:
10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English (minimum 50% aggregate, 50% in English), or
3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation, IT) with ≥50% aggregate, or
2-year Vocational Course including Physics and Mathematics with ≥50% aggregate.
Other Streams:
10+2 in any stream with ≥50% aggregate and 50% in English, or
2-year Vocational Course with ≥50% aggregate.
Sports Achievements:
Represented India at Junior/Senior International level, or
Secured 5th place or better in Junior/Senior Nationals, All India Inter University, or Khelo India Nationals, or
Represented State/UT in National/All India Inter University/Khelo India events.
Special conditions:
Cricket: BCCI trophies.
Shooting: NSCC rankings.
Chess: FIDE rating ≥ 2150.
Medical & Physical Standards:
Height: ≥152 cm, Chest: ≥77 cm with 5 cm expansion.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats.
Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6, with specified limits.
Must meet other IAF medical standards.
