Eligibility Criteria :

Academic Qualification :
Applicants must hold a full-time Graduate or Diploma qualification with at least 55% marks in any of the following disciplines ;
Mechanical Engineering.
Electrical Engineering.
Shipwright Engineering.
Or any equivalent branch.
The qualification must be obtained from a recognized university, deemed university, or an AICTE-approved institution.

Experience Requirements (as on 03 June 2026) :
Candidates should possess relevant post-qualification work experience as follows ;
Engineering Graduates: Minimum 2 years.
Diploma Holders: Minimum 5 years.
Experience should be in one or more of the following domains ;
Ship operation, repair, refit, maintenance, trials, or inspection of naval vessels/submarines.
Fabrication, welding, erection, and structural works on ship/submarine platforms.
Installation, integration, and quality assurance of shipboard systems and equipment.
Conducting functional checks, harbour trials, and system commissioning activities.

Preferred Background :
Additional preference will be extended to ;
Retired personnel from the Indian Navy.
Ex-servicemen from ERA, EAP, SWA-3 or higher technical cadres.
Candidates with prior experience in naval mechanical/electrical engineering roles.

Application Fee :
General / OBC : ₹300/-.
SC / ST : ₹300/-.

Age Limit :
Maximum permissible age: 45 years.

Salary Structure :
Selected candidates will be offered ;
₹75,000 per month consolidated pay.
Annual retention incentive of ₹2,000 upon completion of each year of service.

The selection process will involve multiple stages designed to assess technical competence and suitability ;
Preliminary shortlisting based on eligibility and experience.
Personal interview / technical assessment.
Verification of documents.
Medical fitness evaluation.
