Home Guard Volunteers – Eligibility, Age & Honorarium Details :
Educational Qualification :
General Duty Home Guards (Men & Women): Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Bandmen: Must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Home Guard Volunteer Drivers: Must have passed 10+2 or Matriculation from a recognized board.
Technical Trademen Home Guard Volunteers: Must have passed Matriculation and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
Application Fee :
General/OBC : ₹200.
Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 50 years.
The age of candidates will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
Honorarium / Daily Allowance :
All selected candidates will receive an honorarium of ₹977 per day, irrespective of the post, as detailed below:
General Duty Home Guards (Men) : ₹977 per day
General Duty Home Guards (Women) : ₹977 per day
Bandmen : ₹977 per day
Home Guard Volunteer Drivers : ₹977 per day
Technical Trademen Home Guard Volunteers : ₹977 per day

Bandmen: Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Home Guard Volunteer Drivers: Applicants should have completed either 10+2 or Matriculation from a recognized board.
Technical Trademen Home Guard Volunteers: Must have passed Matriculation and possess a valid ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Age Criteria :
Applicants must be between 18 and 50 years of age as on 01 January 2026.
Daily Honorarium
Selected volunteers will be entitled to a daily honorarium of ₹977 per day, applicable to all categories including General Duty, Bandmen, Drivers, and Technical Trademen.
