The age of candidates will be calculated as on 15 August 2026.
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 33 years.
Applicable age relaxation is available for eligible categories according to Gujarat Government rules.
Reserved category male candidates: 5 years relaxation, maximum age up to 38 years.
General category candidates with disability: 10 years relaxation, maximum age up to 43 years.

Selected candidates for the Multi Purpose Health Supervisor post will receive a fixed monthly remuneration during the initial period of service.
First five years: ₹26,000 per month, along with other applicable benefits according to Finance Department resolutions.
After five years: Subject to satisfactory service and applicable government conditions, candidates may receive regular appointment under 7th Pay Commission Level-4, with a pay scale of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.
The regular appointment and pay conditions are subject to the outcome of the pending Supreme Court cases mentioned in the recruitment notification.

The GSSSB MPHS examination will be conducted as a single-stage objective-type competitive examination through CBRT or OMR mode.
The examination consists of two parts.
Part A :
Total Questions: 90.
Total Marks: 90.
Duration: Included within the overall 180-minute examination.
Reasoning and Data Interpretation: 30 questions, 30 marks.
Quantitative Aptitude: 30 questions, 30 marks.

Part B :

The total examination duration is 180 minutes. A negative marking of one-fourth mark for every incorrect answer will apply.

The Part-A syllabus covers reasoning, quantitative aptitude, Indian Constitution, current affairs, and language comprehension.

Candidates must achieve the prescribed minimum qualifying standard separately in both examination parts.
Part-A: Minimum 40%.
Part-B: Minimum 40%.
No candidate can qualify by compensating for a lower score in one part with a higher score in the other part. Candidates must satisfy the minimum qualifying requirement in both sections.
Sports Quota Additional Marks :
Eligible sportspersons may receive additional marks equivalent to 5% of their examination marks for merit-ranking purposes.
The benefit is available to candidates who have represented India or their state at specified national, international, inter-university, or school-level competitions in the sports listed in the recruitment notification.
