GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification :
Applicants must have completed a minimum one-year ITI course from a government-recognized institute in any of the following trades:
Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, General Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Sheet Metal Worker, Automobile Body Repairer, Welder / Welder-cum-Fabricator, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter General, or Automobile Paint Repairer.

Additional Preference :
Extra weightage will be given to candidates who:
Have completed an Apprenticeship in the same trade from a Government / Semi-Government / PSU / Limited / Private Limited Company.
Hold a valid NCVT certificate with marksheet.

Mandatory Computer Knowledge :
Candidates must possess:
A basic computer knowledge certificate from a recognized institute
OR
Computer as a subject in any diploma/degree course
OR
Passed Class 10 or 12 with computer as a subject.

Application Fee :
All Divyang (PwD) Candidates (Male / Female): ₹236/- (₹200 + ₹36 GST).

Age Criteria :
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 45 years (including 10 years relaxation for Divyang candidates over the general upper age limit).
Eligible Date of Birth Range: 12/03/1981 to 12/03/2008.
Age will be calculated as on 12-03-2026 (last date of application).
SEBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate to claim age relaxation benefits.

Salary Structure :
₹21,100/- per month (Fixed Pay) for the first 5 years on contractual basis.
Upon successful completion of five years of satisfactory service, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in the Helper category as per the prevailing pay scale.
During the contractual period, no additional allowances or benefits will be applicable except those permitted under corporation rules.
