Applicants must meet all conditions by 19 May 2026, the closing date of application.
Educational Qualification :
Assistant Engineer (Civil) : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience : Not required.
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : Not required.
Degrees must be from recognized universities or institutions.
Age Limit :
Minimum age: 20 years.
Maximum age: 35 years (as on 19 May 2026).

Application Fee :
Fee will be as per GPSC / Gujarat Government OJAS rules.

Selection Process :
Candidates will be selected through a two-stage process ;
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (300 Marks).
General Studies – 100 marks.
Engineering Subject (Civil/Mechanical) – 200 marks.
Duration: 3 hours.
Stage 2: Interview (100 Marks).
Final Merit ;
50% weightage: Preliminary Exam.
50% weightage: Interview.
No mains examination is conducted.

Complete registration with mobile and email verification.
Fill in all required personal and academic details.

Download and print the submitted application form.
Important Notes :
Separate applications are required for Civil and Mechanical posts.
No offline applications will be accepted.
No work experience is required.
Age will be calculated as on the last date (19 May 2026).
Selection is strictly based on Prelims + Interview.
