Education Qualification :

Senior Private Secretary (Level 8) :
Either holding a similar post OR
2 years of service in Level 6 or equivalent

Assistant Manager (IT) (Level 7) :
Similar post OR
5 years in Level 6 equivalent.
Must have engineering/IT qualification (B.Tech/MCA etc.).

Assistant (Level 6) :
Similar post OR
10 years in Level 4 equivalent.
Graduate degree with relevant administrative experience.

Junior Assistant Grade-I (Level 4) :
Similar post OR
8 years in Level 2 equivalent
Minimum qualification: 12th pass.

Eligibility Requirements :
Applicants must currently be serving in ;
Central or State Government services.
Union Territory administrations.
Universities or research bodies.
PSUs or autonomous/statutory organizations.

Duration of Deputation :
Initial tenure: 1 to 3 years depending on post.
Extension possible based on performance and approval.
No guarantee of permanent absorption.
Subject to availability of posts.

Age Limit :
Maximum age allowed: 56 years (as on 19 June 2026).

Pay Equivalency (PSU Employees) :
For candidates from PSUs/Autonomous bodies ;
Level 6 → E0.
Level 7 → E1.
Level 8 → E2.
Level 10 → E3.
Level 11 → E4.
Level 12 → E5/E6.
Level 13 → E7.
Level 14 → E8.

Pay Structure (7th CPC) :
All positions follow government pay matrix rules ;
Senior Private Secretary → Level 8 (₹47,600–₹1,51,100).
Assistant Manager (IT) → Level 7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400).
Assistant → Level 6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400).
Junior Assistant Grade-I → Level 4 (₹25,500–₹81,100).
Final pay fixation will follow official deputation rules issued by DoPT.

Application Procedure :
Applicants must complete two compulsory steps: online submission and physical submission.
Online Registration ;
Visit the official portal: www.fssai.gov.in
Open the “jobs@fssai (careers)” section.
Apply between 30 May 2026 and 19 June 2026.
Ensure eligibility is valid as on 19 June 2026.
After submitting the form, save the Application ID.
Download and print the submitted application.
Submission of Hard Copy ;
Get the printed application certified by the employer/cadre authority.
Attach required documents such as ;
Integrity certificate.
Vigilance clearance.
Record of penalties (last 10 years, if any).
Certified APARs for the last 5 years.
Dispatch the complete set through official channel to ;
FSSAI Headquarters, Recruitment Cell, FDA Bhawan, New Delhi.
Must reach by 13 July 2026.

Key Rule :
Online-only applications are invalid without hard copy submission.
Hard copy without online registration is also rejected.
Once submitted, applications cannot be cancelled.

Key Restrictions :
Both online and physical submissions are mandatory.
Only eligible government/organizational employees can apply.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Applications cannot be withdrawn after submission.
Final selection is at FSSAI’s discretion.
