ESIC Recruitment 2026

Tentative Interview Date : Third week of June 2026 (15-06-2026 or 16-06-2026).

Eligibility Criteria :
Eligibility will be assessed strictly in accordance with National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly MCI, guidelines dated 30.06.2025.

Education Qualification :
Applicants must possess the required qualifications for teaching positions as per NMC norms, including MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degrees in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
All candidates must ensure compliance with updated medical education and registration requirements prescribed by NMC.

Age Limit (as on date of interview) :
Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor : 69 years.
Senior Resident (Broad Specialties) : 45 years.
Senior Resident (Pre/Para Clinical Subjects) : 50 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD and Ex-Servicemen categories.

Essential Conditions :
Valid and updated NMC / State Medical Council registration is mandatory.
Candidates must possess all post-MBBS and PG qualifications duly registered.
Those awaiting updated registration must produce proof of application at interview.
Government/Autonomous institution employees should submit an NOC or proof of NOC application.
Private practice is strictly prohibited during the entire contract period.
Dual employment in other medical colleges or hospitals is not permitted.

Pay Structure :
Professor : ₹1,23,100/- , Level 13.
Associate Professor : ₹78,800/- , Level 12.
Assistant Professor : ₹67,700/- , Level 11.
Senior Resident : ₹67,700/-, Level 11.
Additional allowances may be provided as per ESIC rules and government instructions. Retired personnel may draw pension along with full contractual remuneration.

SC / ST / PwD / Female / Ex-Servicemen : Nil
Other Candidates : ₹500/-
Demand Draft payable at Namkum in favour of ESIC Saving Fund A/c No. 2.
Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Documents Required :
Candidates must submit self-attested copies of the following ;
Proof of Date of Birth (Class 10 certificate).
MBBS and PG degree certificates with mark sheets.
Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD as applicable).
Experience certificates.
Research publications (if any).
NOC / relieving letter (if applicable).
Aadhaar card and PAN card.
Recent passport-size photograph.
Demand Draft (if applicable).
Certificates must be in prescribed formats, especially for EWS and OBC categories as per Central Government rules.

Selection Process :
Selection will be conducted through ;
Initial scrutiny of applications.
Verification of eligibility and documents.
Personal interview before the Selection Board.
Final selection based on academic profile and interview performance.
Final results will be published on the official ESIC website, and communication regarding appointment will be sent via email only.

Contract Conditions :
Initial appointment: 1 year contract, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
Maximum age limit for continuation: 70 years.
Leave: 2.5 days per month (non-cumulative, non-encashable).
Security deposit of ₹30,000 required at joining (refundable on completion).
Notice period: 1 month from either side.
Immediate termination in case of misconduct or unauthorized absence.
No pension, PF, gratuity, or regularization benefits.
No accommodation or travel allowance provided.
Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance is compulsory.
