Academic Qualification :
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university. An MCA degree is also acceptable.
Additional qualifications such as MBA (IT/Project Management), M.Tech, or industry-recognized certifications (e.g., OEM certifications, cybersecurity credentials like ISO 27001 or CISSP) will be considered advantageous.
Professional Experience :
Experience requirements depend on the level of the post:
At least 6 years for Engineer/Specialist positions.
At least 12 years for Lead-level roles.
At least 20 years for Project Director.
Relevant expertise should include enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, application development/support, procurement, or similar domains. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Government organizations, PSUs, or regulated sectors such as BFSI and Telecom.
Training or teaching experience will not be counted toward the required work experience.
Age Criteria (As on 16 March 2026) :
Applicants must be between 18 and 62 years of age.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories.
General Conditions :
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Candidates must not have any prior contractual or employment arrangement implying an employer-employee relationship with ESIC.
Willingness to serve anywhere in India is mandatory.
