Important Dates :
Notification Issue Date : 17 June 2026.
Walk-In Interview (Day 1) : 08 July 2026.
Walk-In Interview (Day 2) : 09 July 2026.
Document Verification Time : 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM on both days.
Candidates are advised to report to the venue well before the reporting time.

Education Qualification :
Must possess MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution
OR
Must possess M.Sc. with Ph.D. in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, or Microbiology.
Candidates must fulfill eligibility as per NMC TEQ 2025 and MSR/PGMER 2023.
All qualifications should be valid as on the date of the interview.

Preferred Qualifications :
Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine is preferred. Candidates with MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, or Orthopaedics are also eligible.
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: MD/DNB in PMR is preferred. Candidates with MD (General Medicine) with Diploma in PMR, or MS/DNB in General Surgery or Orthopaedics are also eligible.
Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and other Super Specialties: DM/DNB/DrNB in the concerned specialty is preferred.
Dentistry: Candidates must possess MDS in Endodontics.

Age Limit :
Clinical Specialties (Broad Specialties): Maximum age limit is 45 years.
Pre-clinical and Para-clinical subjects: Maximum age limit is 50 years.
Candidates must satisfy the age criteria as on the date of the interview.

Salary / Remuneration :
The post carries Pay Level-11 under the 7th CPC.
Basic Pay is Rs. 67,700/- per month.
Gross monthly emoluments are approximately Rs. 1,60,045/- including DA and other allowances.
Salary will be revised as per Central Government DA revisions.
Private practice is not permitted during the tenure.
The tenure of engagement is 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Reservation Policy :
Reservation will be provided as per Central Government rules.
OBC (NCL) candidates must submit a valid certificate in the prescribed Central Government format.
SC/ST candidates must possess a valid caste certificate.
EWS candidates must submit a valid Income and Asset Certificate.
PwD candidates should have a minimum of 40% disability certified by an authorized Medical Board.
Ex-Servicemen are eligible for fee exemption as per rules.

Application Fee :
SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of the application fee.
UR, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/-.
The fee must be paid through Demand Draft only.
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", payable at Chennai.
Cash, UPI, and online payments will not be accepted.

Documents Required at the Walk-In Interview :
Carry a valid Photo ID proof.
Carry Address Proof.
Bring Class 10th certificate for date of birth proof.
Carry Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
Bring MBBS degree, mark sheets, and PG/Super Specialty certificates.
Carry a valid registration certificate from NMC or State Medical Council.
Bring experience certificates, if applicable.
Carry two recent passport-size photographs.
Bring community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable.
PwD candidates should carry a disability certificate issued by an authorized Medical Board.
Ex-Servicemen should carry their discharge certificate.
Government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Carry the Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-, if applicable.
Bring the duly filled application form in the prescribed format.

Selection Process :
Candidates must undergo Document Verification.
A Screening Test may be conducted if the candidate-to-post ratio exceeds 1:10.
The Screening Test will consist of MCQs in the concerned discipline.
Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Walk-In Interview.
Final selection will be based on interview performance.
Results will be published on the official website.
Selected candidates must join immediately upon receiving the offer.

Important Terms & Conditions :
Candidates who have completed 3 years under the Central Residency Scheme are not eligible.
Government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
A Security Deposit of Rs. 30,000/- is mandatory at the time of joining.
The contract may be terminated by either side with one month's notice or equivalent pay.
Attendance must be marked manually and through Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance.
Absence for 15 consecutive days without permission may lead to termination.
PF, Pension, Medical Benefits, Seniority, and Promotion benefits are not admissible.
Registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council must be completed within 30 days of joining, if not already registered.
Candidates can apply for only one post at a time, except for Emergency Medicine and PMR where cross-specialty applications are allowed.
A contractual agreement on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper must be signed at the time of joining.
