Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must meet all post-wise eligibility requirements as on the closing date of application. Eligibility includes educational qualification, age limit, and other conditions specified for each post. Only Indian nationals who fulfill the prescribed criteria are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification :

Lower Division Clerk (LDC) :
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) from a recognized board. They should also possess typing proficiency on computer with minimum speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.

Stenographer Grade II :
Applicants must have passed Class 12 and must qualify in stenography skill test, including dictation at 80 wpm for 10 minutes and transcription within the prescribed time limits in English or Hindi on computer.

Civilian Motor Driver (OG) :
Candidates should have passed Matriculation or Class 12 along with a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence and relevant driving experience as required.

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) :
Applicants must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognized board.

Technical / IT Posts :
For posts such as Network Administrator, Hardware Administrator, and Supervisor (Networking), candidates must possess Diploma, Degree, or ITI in the relevant technical discipline as specified in the official notification.

Other Technical Posts :
For roles such as Lineman, Boat Builder, and Technical Attendant, candidates must hold Matriculation and/or ITI/trade qualification relevant to the post.

Age Limit :
Age eligibility varies by post category and is calculated as on the closing date of application.

Age Range :
LDC, Stenographer, Driver, Technical Posts: 18 to 27 years.
MTS and select support posts: 18 to 25 years.
Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and PwBD candidates is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Pay Structure (7th CPC) :
Selected candidates will be placed under the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix as applicable to the post.
Pay Levels ;
Stenographer Grade II: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100).
LDC, Driver, Networking & Technical Posts: Level 2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200).
MTS & Technical Attendant: Level 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900).

Selection Process :
The selection procedure consists of multiple stages depending on the post applied for.
Written Examination ;
An objective-type written test may be conducted to assess general knowledge, reasoning, and subject-related aptitude.
Skill / Trade Test ;
Candidates applying for skill-based posts must undergo relevant tests such as typing, stenography, driving, or technical trade evaluation.
Document Verification ;
Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates and supporting documents for verification.
Medical Examination ;
Final selection will be subject to medical fitness as per DSSC standards.
