Eligibility Criteria :

Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist :
Applicants should possess a Post Graduate Degree, DNB, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty.
The qualification must be recognized under Schedule I & II of the MCI Act, 1956.
Candidates must have valid registration with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council.

Civil Assistant Surgeon (General) :
Candidates must have completed MBBS or an equivalent qualification recognized under Schedule I & II of the MCI Act, 1956.
Applicants should hold a valid registration with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council.

Application Fee :
There is no application fee for this recruitment.
Candidates can attend the walk-in recruitment process without paying any registration charges.

Age Limit :
The upper age limit for OC candidates is 42 years.
Candidates belonging to EWS, SC, ST, and BC categories can apply up to 47 years of age.
Differently Abled Persons are eligible to apply up to 52 years of age as on 01 July 2026.
Ex-servicemen will be given an age relaxation of 3 years in addition to the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces.

Salary / Stipend :
Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist ;
Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 1,10,000/-.
Civil Assistant Surgeon (General) ;
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 61,960/-.

Selection Process :
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit and the Rule of Reservation.
A merit list will be prepared for all candidates who satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Final selection will be carried out according to the merit list and reservation policies applicable to Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Services.
