Eligibility :
This opportunity is exclusively open to Indian citizens who meet specific academic benchmarks.

Undergraduate Candidates (BE/B.Tech) : You must be currently entering your final year. Specifically, you should have already given or cleared your 6th-semester (3rd-year) final exams. Your cumulative score from the 1st through the 6th semester must sit at a minimum of 70% (or the equivalent CGPA).

Postgraduate Candidates (ME/M.Tech/M.Sc) : You are eligible if you have completed or appeared for your 2nd-semester (1st-year) exams. You must maintain at least a 70% aggregate score across your first year.
Keep in Mind: Meeting these marks just gets you through the door. LRDE employs its own internal vetting process to pick the final candidates, so a high percentage does not automatically guarantee a slot.

Compensation & Logistics (Stipend) :
Selected interns receive a total financial incentive of Rs. 30,000, which is disbursed in two equal phases depending on your timeline and performance;
Milestone 1: You will receive Rs. 15,000 once you successfully cross the 3-month mark of your internship.
Milestone 2: The remaining Rs. 15,000 is unlocked after completing 6 months, contingent on a clearing a technical review of your work.
All funds are transferred directly into a bank account linked to your government ID. Note that LRDE provides no daily allowance, housing, or commuting arrangements, meaning all living and travel expenses in Bengaluru must be managed by you.

To be considered for the shortlist, you must package and send photocopies of the following ;
The completed registration form (Annexure I).An official nod from your university—specifically a mandatory. recommendation letter signed by your HOD, Principal, or Internship Head (Annexure II).Transcripts or marksheets spanning every semester you have completed so far (provisional versions are fine if official ones are delayed).
A brief, self-written essay highlighting your specific research interests and why you want to intern at LRDE.A photocopy of your active college student ID card.
A photocopy of a valid government-issued photo ID.
Phase 2: To Present on Your First Day ;
If you receive an acceptance letter, you must bring these physical documents with you to the facility ;
Every original academic marksheet for verification purposes (they will be handed back immediately after review).The original physical copy of your college recommendation letter.
Your physical government ID and college ID.
Two passport-sized photos and two smaller stamp-sized photos.
A formal Police Verification Certificate issued by the district authorities where you permanently reside or have lived for the past year.
A copy of your bank passbook showing your linked account details.
Signed legal declarations promising to comply with the Indian Official Secrets Act 1923 and the Ministry of Defence IT Security Regulations.

How to Submit Your Application :
Grab the Forms: Locate the official LRDE announcement and print out the application layout (Annexure I).Fill in the Details: Handwrite or type your personal information, university credentials, exact aggregate scores, and specify your preferred research topic using the designated branch codes.
Get University Approval: Take Annexure II to your college authorities and have them print and sign the recommendation on official university letterhead.
Assemble the Bundle: Collate your completed form, your brief statement of purpose, your self-attested document copies, and fix a standard passport photograph ($4.5 \times 3.5 \text{ cm}$) to the application page.
Label the Package: Place everything inside a secure envelope. On the front, clearly write: "Application for Paid Internship" followed by your engineering discipline code (e.g., EC, ME, CS, CE, or EE).Mail It: Send the package strictly via Speed Post to the following address ;
