Eligibility :

Section Officer (Group B – Level 7) :
Applicants must be officers who are either ;
Serving in a similar post on a regular basis in their parent department, OR
Having at least 5 years of regular service in Level-6 pay matrix (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) or an equivalent grade.
Preferred Qualification: Prior experience in judicial or legal-related work will be advantageous.

Private Secretary (Group B – Level 7) :
Eligible candidates should be ;
Holding an equivalent post regularly in their parent cadre, OR
Having completed 5 years of regular service as Stenographer Grade-I in Level-6 pay scale (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) or similar equivalent position.
Preferred Qualification: Exposure to legal or court-related work is desirable.

Assistant (Group B – Level 6) :
Eligibility includes officers who are ;
Working in an analogous post on a regular basis, OR
Having served for 10 years in Level-4 pay matrix (₹25,500–₹81,100) or an equivalent grade in their parent organization.

Accounts Assistant (Group B – Level 6) :
Eligible applicants must be Central Government officers who ;
Hold an analogous post on regular basis, OR
Have completed 10 years of regular service in Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100) or equivalent, and
Have undergone training in cash and accounts management from ISTM or any recognized Central Government training institute.

Stenographer Grade-I (Group B – Level 6) :
Candidates should ;
Be serving in an analogous post on a regular basis, OR
Have completed 10 years of regular service in Level-4 pay scale (₹25,500–₹81,100) or equivalent role.

Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – Group C (Level 4) :
Applicants must ;
Be holding an equivalent post on a regular basis, OR
Be Lower Division Clerks with at least 8 years of regular service in Level-2 pay matrix (₹19,900–₹63,200) or similar equivalent.

Age Limit :
The upper age limit for all posts is 56 years, calculated as on the final date of application receipt, i.e., 15-06-2026.

Application Fee :
There is no application fee applicable for any category of candidates.

Selection Process :
Selection will be carried out from among eligible officers who are willing and can be relieved immediately by their respective departments.

Key points :
Applications must be forwarded through the proper administrative channel.
Attested copies of APARs for the last five years (up to 31.03.2026) must be attached.
Initial deputation tenure will be one year, extendable up to three years maximum.
Deputation conditions will follow applicable DoPT guidelines and subsequent amendments.
Total deputation period, including any previous similar assignments, should generally not exceed three years.
Once an application is forwarded, the candidate will not be permitted to withdraw it.
The parent department must confirm vigilance clearance and ensure no disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated.

Procedure for Applying :
Applications must be submitted strictly through the proper channel of the parent department. Direct submissions from candidates will not be accepted.
The forwarding authority must send applications in the prescribed formats (Annexure-I & II), along with attested copies of APARs for the last five years (up to 31.03.2026).

Documents / Details Required :
Applicants must ensure the application includes ;
Post applied for.
Personal and official details (name, designation, office address in block letters).
Date of birth.
Date of initial government appointment.
Expected retirement date.
Educational qualifications (from SSC onwards with year and marks/grade).
Detailed service history and experience relevant to the post.
APARs for the last five years (attested copies).
Vigilance clearance certificate from the parent department confirming no pending or contemplated disciplinary action.
Applications missing required documents or certification will be rejected outright.

Important Instructions :
Only applications routed through proper official channel will be accepted.
DRAT Mumbai and DRTs function as quasi-judicial bodies under the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993 (as amended).
Deputation appointment will initially be for one year, extendable up to three years only, with no further extension permitted.
Candidates already in the direct promotion line for the post are not eligible for deputation.
Officers already serving under DRAT/DRTs within DRAT Mumbai jurisdiction will not be considered for absorption or promotion.
Once an application is forwarded, withdrawal of candidature will not be permitted under any circumstances.
The parent department must certify vigilance clearance and confirm no disciplinary proceedings are pending or anticipated.
