Eligibility Requirements :
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have successfully completed at least the 10th standard from a recognized institution.

Who Can Apply :
Applications are invited from socially responsible individuals, including:
Serving or retired teachers.
MSW students and teaching staff.
Anganwadi workers.
Students, including law students (eligible only until enrollment as an advocate).
Members of non-political, service-oriented NGOs, voluntary bodies, and clubs.
Members of women’s groups, friendship groups, self-help groups, and representatives of vulnerable or marginalized communities.
Well-conducted and educated prisoners serving long-term sentences.
Any other individual actively engaged in community or social service activities.

Local Residency Condition :
The applicant must be a permanent resident of the concerned taluka for which the application is submitted.

Application Guidelines :
Only one application per candidate is permitted.
Submission of applications for multiple areas/talukas will lead to rejection.

Prior Experience (If Applicable) :
Candidates who have previously worked as Legal Volunteers must submit a brief report (not exceeding two pages) outlining the nature and impact of their work.

Honorarium & Nature of Engagement :
This is a voluntary service role, not a government job or formal employment.
Selected individuals will receive an honorarium, not a fixed salary.
Payment will be made on a task-based basis, in accordance with the revised guidelines of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) Legal Volunteer Scheme.
Honorarium will be released whenever specific assignments are completed.
Note: The engagement does not confer any right to regular appointment or employment benefits.
