Eligibility Criteria :
The required qualifications for various posts under DHS Tiruppur NHM Recruitment 2026 are as follows ;

Medical Officer (UHWC) : MBBS degree from a recognized institution approved by MCI/NMC and valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.

Staff Nurse / MLHP : Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council–recognized institution.

Multi Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade II) : HSC with Biology/Botany & Zoology, Tamil as a subject in SSLC, and a 2-year MPHW/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector training certificate from a recognized authority.

Dental Surgeon : BDS degree from a DCI-approved institution with Tamil Nadu Dental Council registration.

Physiotherapist : BPT degree from a recognized university, preferably with hospital experience.

Audiologist (GMCH) : Relevant qualification in Audiology along with a certificate in Audiometry from a recognized institution.

Audiometrician (JDHS) : Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech (DHLS) from an RCI-approved institute.

Speech & Hearing Specialist (JDHS) : Degree in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology or B.Sc Speech and Hearing from RCI-recognized institutions.

Early Intervention Specialist : Postgraduate degree in Social Work/Sociology or Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy.

Occupational Therapist : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with required contractual service conditions.

Account Assistant : B.Com degree with accounting experience and working knowledge of Tally software.

Lab Technician (Grade III) : DMLT diploma or +2 with DMLT certificate from a recognized institute with required physical fitness standards.

Counsellor : Degree/Postgraduate in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related fields with minimum 3 years of HIV/AIDS counselling experience.

OT Technician / Assistant : Short-term OT Technician training (3 months) from a recognized institute.

Hospital Worker / MPHW / Sanitary Worker / Security : Minimum 8th pass with basic literacy in Tamil.

Age Limit :
Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon, Occupational Therapist: Below 40 years.
Staff Nurse / MLHP, Lab Technician (Grade III): Below 50 years.
Multi Purpose Health Worker: Below 35 years.
Physiotherapist, Audiology-related posts, Account Assistant, Counsellor, OT Technician: Below 35 years.
Hospital Worker / MPHW / Sanitary Worker / Security: Below 59 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government norms.

Selection Process :
Selection will be carried out through different methods based on post requirements ;
Merit-based selection (no interview): Medical Officer, Staff Nurse/MLHP, Multi Purpose Health Worker.
Interview-based selection: All remaining posts.
Final selection will depend on academic marks, relevant experience, and performance in interview (where applicable), followed by document verification.

Key Information :
All appointments are purely contractual in nature.
No scope for permanent absorption in government service.
Preference may be given to existing contract employees in similar roles.
Eligibility conditions must be strictly satisfied.
