Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must possess the prescribed qualifications for each post from recognised institutions. All appointments are purely contractual, and selected candidates must sign an undertaking and an 11-month agreement at the time of joining.

Medical Officer (UHWC) :
MBBS degree from a UGC-recognised university or institution.
Degree must be approved by NMC / Medical Council of India.
Valid registration with Tamil Nadu Medical Council is mandatory.

Health Inspector Gr. II (UHWC & MTM) :
Passed Higher Secondary (+2) with Biology or Botany & Zoology.
Tamil language passed at SSLC level.
Two-year training certificate in Multipurpose Health Worker / Sanitary Inspector / Health Inspector from recognised institutions, trusts, universities, or DPH-approved training centres.

Staff Nurse (UHWC) :
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) OR B.Sc Nursing.
Qualification must be recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

ULB-UHN :
Higher Secondary qualification (10+2).
Two-year ANM course from DPH-approved institutions.

Mid Level Health Provider (MLHP) :
Diploma in GNM OR B.Sc Nursing.
Must be from recognised government or approved private nursing institutions under the Indian Nursing Council.

Data Manager (IDSP) :
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science with at least 1-year experience OR
B.E. in IT or Electronics.

Programme cum Administrative Assistant :
Graduate degree from a recognised university.
Working knowledge of MS Office tools.
Minimum 1 year experience in health programme/NRHM support.
Knowledge of accounts and drafting skills preferred.

Cleaner / Hospital Worker / Sanitary Worker / Security Guard :
Minimum qualification: 8th pass.
Ability to read and write Tamil.

Dental Technician (DEIC) :
Diploma in Dental Technology.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.

Optometrist (DEIC) :
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry.

Occupational Therapist (DEIC) :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised university.

Age Limit :
Age criteria vary by post and are calculated as on the date of application. Relaxation is applicable as per Government of Tamil Nadu norms.

Health Inspector Gr. II (UHWC) : Below 35 years.
Staff Nurse : Below 50 years.
ULB-UHN : Below 35 years.
Health Inspector Gr. II (MTM) : Below 50 years.
Mid Level Health Provider : Below 50 years.
Data Manager : Below 40 years.
Programme cum Admin Assistant : Below 45 years.
Cleaner / Worker / Security / Technician / Optometrist : Below 35 years.
Occupational Therapist : Below 40 years.

Selection Procedure :
Selection will be conducted by a Selection Committee based on scrutiny and merit.
Step 1: Application Scrutiny ;

Step 2: Final Selection ;
Final selection will be made based on committee recommendation.

5. Terms of Engagement ;
Employment is strictly temporary and contractual (11 months).

Undertaking letter.
11-month contract agreement.
Contract may end automatically after completion unless renewed.
