Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates applying for House Staff / Junior Resident positions must fulfill the following requirements ;
Possession of an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
Completion of Compulsory Rotatory Internship (applicable for candidates of the 2020–2026 batch).
Registration with the West Bengal Medical Council (WBMC) is mandatory.

Applicable Departments :
These eligibility conditions apply across all listed specialties, including Anaesthesiology, Blood Bank, CCU, Chest Medicine, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Pathology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, and Forensic Medicine.

Application Fee :
General / OBC : No application fee.
SC / ST : No application fee.

Age Limit :
Upper Age Limit: 35 years for all posts.
Relaxation in age, if any, is not specified in the notification and candidates should refer to the official document for clarification.

Salary / Stipend :
The stipend and pay structure will be provided in accordance with ;
Government order HF/O/MERT/250/ME/MISC-109-2025 dated 21.03.2025, along with applicable institutional norms.

Selection Process :
The recruitment process will be carried out in the following stages ;
Preparation of a merit list based on academic performance in MBBS and related criteria.
Counselling process for allocation of departments/specialties.
