Qualification & Experience :

Essential Qualification :
Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the competent authority.

Experience :
Minimum one year of post-certification service as Master or Chief Officer on a foreign-going ship.

Age Criteria :
Minimum Age: 40 years.
Maximum Age: 56 years.

Age Relaxation :
SC/ST: 5 years.
OBC: 3 years.
PwBD: 10 years (up to 50 years; up to 55 years for existing Port Authority employees, subject to a maximum of 56 years).
Existing Port Authority Employees: Upper age limit up to 55 years.

Pay & Benefits :
Pay Scale: ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000 (IDA Pattern).
(Pre-revised scale: ₹14,500 – ₹18,700).
