Eligibility Conditions :

Applicants must meet the educational qualifications and experience requirements prescribed for the respective position. The eligibility varies depending on the level of appointment under different project categories.

Senior Project Associate :
Candidates should possess an M.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. Alternatively, B.Tech holders in the same discipline with at least three years of research and development experience in industrial, academic, or scientific organizations are eligible. The experience must be related to recognized scientific activities or services.

Project Associate–II (PAT-II) :
Applicants must hold an M.Tech in Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. Those with a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline must have a minimum of two years of R&D experience in industrial or academic institutions or S&T organizations.

Project Associate–I (PAT-I) :
Candidates should have an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Sciences. Alternatively, B.E./B.Tech graduates in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Electronics, Electrochemical, Mineral Engineering, or allied branches are eligible as per project requirements.

Project Assistant–II (PA-II) :
Applicants must possess a B.Sc. in Chemistry, Geology, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Candidates with a three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering are also eligible.

Project Assistant–I (PA-I) :
SSC/10th pass candidates with an ITI certification in the Ceramic Trade are eligible to apply.


Age Limit :
The upper age limit for Project Assistant-I, Project Assistant-II, Project Associate-I, and Project Associate-II posts is 35 years. For Senior Project Associate, the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates
3 years for OBC candidates

Salary / Stipend :
Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly emoluments as follows :
Project Assistant-I: ₹18,000 + HRA.
Project Assistant-II: ₹20,000 + HRA.
Project Associate-I: ₹25,000 + HRA / ₹31,000 + HRA (as applicable).
Project Associate-II: ₹28,000 + HRA / ₹35,000 + HRA (as applicable).
Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000 + HRA.

Higher pay slabs for Project Associate positions may be applicable depending on qualification and experience as per project guidelines.
