Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants for Technician-1 posts must possess matriculation qualification along with relevant technical training or field experience in the concerned trade. Eligibility requirements vary depending on the specific trade.

Basic Qualification Requirement :
Candidates must have ;
SSC / 10th pass with at least 55% marks in Science subjects.
ITI certificate in the relevant trade
OR
2 years apprenticeship training in the concerned trade
OR
3 years practical work experience in the respective discipline.

Applicable Trades ;
Computer Engineering (Instrument Mechanics).
Motor Cycle / Motorbike (Surveyor).
Motor / Fitter.
Welder.
Carpenter.
Electrician.
Wireman.
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
Draftsman Civil.
Automobile / Motor Vehicle Mechanic (MMV).
Draftsman Mechanical.

Application Fee :
General / OBC : ₹500/-.
SC / ST : Nil.
Women Candidates : Nil.

Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 28 years.

Age Relaxation :
Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per Government rules ;
SC/ST: 5 years.
OBC: 3 years.
PwBD: 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen: as per applicable rules.
Departmental candidates: 5 years.
Widows/Divorced women: up to 35/38/40 years (as applicable).

Salary Structure :
Selected candidates will be appointed in ;
Pay Level-2: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month.
along with admissible allowances as per norms of CSIR-CIMFR.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
Eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by 19-06-2026.

Qualifications must be from recognized institutions.
Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
Equivalent qualifications must be supported with valid proof.
Experience will be counted only after acquiring the prescribed qualification.
Part-time, casual, or daily wage experience will not be considered.
Minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection or trade test call.
Certificates from 10th onwards must be uploaded.
Incorrect or mismatched details may lead to rejection.
Non-English/Hindi documents must include certified translation.
Date of birth in matriculation certificate will be final.
No TA/DA will be provided for tests/interviews.
Selected candidates will undergo probation as per rules.
Candidates cannot take up other employment during probation.
