CSBC Bihar Police Constable (Operator) Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :
The Central Selection Board of Constable invites applications for the post of Constable (Operator). Candidates must carefully review the eligibility conditions before applying.

Nationality :
Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Educational Qualification (As on 31.03.2026) :
Candidates must have completed Intermediate (10+2) in Science or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board.
Minimum 50% aggregate marks required.
45% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates.

Physical Standards :
Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards:

Height Requirement :
Unreserved / Backward Class (Male): 165 cm.
Extremely Backward Class (Male): 160 cm.
SC/ST (Male): 160 cm.
All Female Candidates: 155 cm.
(Transgender candidates will follow the same standards as female candidates.).

Chest Measurement (Male Candidates Only) :
Unreserved / Backward: 81 cm (Unexpanded), 86 cm (Expanded).
SC/ST / Extremely Backward: 79–81 cm (Unexpanded), 84–86 cm (Expanded).
Minimum expansion required: 5 cm.

Weight (Female Candidates Only) :
Minimum 48 kg.

Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01.08.2026)
Maximum Age (as per category):
Unreserved: 25 years.
Backward / Extremely Backward (Male): 27 years.
Backward / Extremely Backward (Female): 28 years.
SC / ST / Transgender: 30 years.
Age relaxation will be provided as per Bihar Government norms, including additional relaxation as mentioned in the official notification.

Additional Requirements :
Candidates seeking reservation benefits must possess a valid Bihar domicile certificate.
Relevant certificates for Caste, Creamy Layer, EWS, Freedom Fighter (FFW), and Transgender category must be submitted where applicable.
Applicants should not have been previously debarred from any examination.
