Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must be experienced advocates fulfilling all conditions as on 23 May 2026 ;
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
Valid Bar Council enrollment certificate.
Minimum 10 years of practice at the Bar.
Strong experience in handling criminal cases and court proceedings.
Ability to work under Government of India terms and conditions.
Submission of details of important criminal cases handled is mandatory.
Age Limit :
No fixed upper age limit mentioned.
Minimum qualification effectively requires 10 years legal practice experience.
Application Fee :
No application fee (NIL).
Professional Fee Structure.
Fee structure will be as per Government of India DoPT guidelines (08.04.2024) ;
Court appearance (effective hearing): ₹7,500 per day per case.
Drafting fee: ₹2,000 per pleading.
Conference charges: ₹600 per hour.
Out-of-pocket expenses: ₹750 per case.
Travel allowance as per Group-A Gazetted Officer norms.
Additional admissible allowances for outstation duties, travel, accommodation, and clerkage as per rules.

Personal interaction with CBI committee.
Final appointment as Special Public Prosecutor (minimum 3 years engagement).
