BPSC Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Applicants with academic background in Agriculture or allied fields may be given preference during selection.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026) :
Minimum age: 20 / 21 / 22 years (as applicable).
Maximum age :
General (Male): 37 years.
OBC / Female: 40 years.
SC / ST: 42 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per BPSC / Bihar Government rules.

Application Fee :
All Candidates : ₹100/- per examination.
Without Aadhaar (Biometric Fee) : ₹200/- additional.

Selection Process :
Candidates will be selected through the following stages ;
Preliminary Examination.
Main Examination.
Interview.

Application Process (Online Mode Only) :
Candidates must apply through the official BPSC online portal by following these steps ;
Submit application via https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in only
Complete One Time Registration (OTR) (only one registration allowed per candidate).
Fill the application form between 07 May 2026 and 31 May 2026.
Upload required documents in PDF format (max 100 KB each).
Upload a live webcam photograph with proper lighting and background.
Upload scanned signatures in Hindi and English (jpg/jpeg, max 15 KB).
Keep valid email ID and mobile number active until final result declaration.

Documents Required :
10th/Matric certificate (age proof).
Graduation certificate/provisional certificate.
Caste certificate (if applicable).
EWS/EBC/BC certificate (if applicable).
Domicile certificate (Bihar candidates).
PwBD certificate (if applicable).
Age relaxation supporting documents (if applicable).

Important Instructions :
Only online applications are accepted; no hard copy submission allowed.
Only one OTR registration per candidate is permitted.
Application fee is non-refundable.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Negative marking of 1/3 mark will apply in Prelims.
False or incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
All official updates will be available only on the BPSC website.
