Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions as on 01 August 2026. The educational qualification must be from a recognized university, and must be completed before the application deadline.

Educational Qualification :
General CCE Posts : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Child Development Project Officer : Graduation + optional subject: Home Science / Psychology / Sociology / Labour & Social Welfare.

Financial Administrative Officer : Graduation in Commerce / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics.

Sub-Divisional Protection Officer : Graduation in Psychology or Law.

Domicile & Reservation Rules :
Reservation benefits are applicable only to Bihar residents.
Candidates from outside Bihar can apply only under the Unreserved (UR) category.
Valid domicile proof is mandatory for reservation claims.
All claims are subject to document verification at later stages.

Age Criteria :
Age is calculated as on 01 August 2026.
Minimum Age ;
20 to 22 years (depending on post).
Maximum Age ;
UR (Male) : 37 years.
UR (Female) : 40 years.
BC / EBC : 40 years.
SC / ST42 years,

Relaxations :
PwBD: +10 years
Bihar Govt Employees: up to 5 years (as per rules).
Ex-Servicemen: service-based relaxation (max 57 years overall limit).

Selection Process :
The examination is conducted in three stages ;
Preliminary Exam ;
Objective screening test.
Qualifying in nature (not counted in final merit).
Main Examination ;
Written descriptive exam.
Major component of final selection.
Interview ;
Personality test carrying 120 marks.
Final Merit Calculation.
Mains: 900 marks.
Interview: 120 marks.
Total: 1020 marks.

Complete One Time Registration (OTR).
Fill the application form carefully.
Upload required documents in PDF format.
Upload live photo and signature as per guidelines.
Pay application fee online.
Submit form and save a copy for reference.

Important Instructions :
Only Bihar residents are eligible for reservation benefits.
Only one OTR registration per candidate is allowed.
Graduation must be completed before application closing date.
Prelims marks are not counted in final merit.
Negative marking applies in Preliminary Exam.
Incorrect or incomplete applications will be rejected.

Final decision of the Commission is binding in all matters.
