Eligibility Criteria :
Appointments are made on a deputation basis in accordance with the eligibility norms prescribed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Candidates must strictly meet the service, educational, and age requirements as on the closing date.

Service Conditions :
Applicants must satisfy any one of the following ;
Option A: Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent organization.
Option B: Serving in Level-6 of the Pay Matrix with at least 3 years of regular service.

Educational Qualification :
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institution ;
Two-year full-time MBA with specialization in Personnel Management or Finance, OR
Post Graduate Degree / Diploma (2 years) in ;
Personnel Management.
Human Resource Management.
Finance.

Age Limit & Posting Conditions :
Maximum age limit: 56 years (as on closing date of receipt of applications).
BIS departmental employees are not eligible for deputation-based recruitment.
BIS retains full authority to ;
Adjust number of vacancies.
Change posting locations.
Transfer selected officers across any BIS office in India.

The selection procedure is based on screening and service record evaluation under deputation guidelines.
