Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on 31/05/2026. All educational qualifications must be obtained from a Government-recognized / AICTE / UGC-approved institution. Knowledge of Gujarati language is desirable for most posts. Candidates applying for Fire Department posts must also meet prescribed physical standards and endurance requirements as detailed in the official OJAS notification.

Educational Qualification :
Assistant Programmer cum System Analyst : B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA.

Sub Fire Officer : Graduate + Fire training/certification.

Senior Fireman : HSC + Fire training certificate + physical fitness standards.

Fireman (Male) : HSC + physical endurance standards.

Fireman cum Driver : HSC + Heavy Vehicle Driving License + physical standards.

Fire Technician : Diploma in Fire Technology/Engineering.

Legal Assistant : LL.B.
Asst. Senior Clerk cum Senior Security Assistant : Graduate + Computer knowledge.

Junior Clerk cum Junior Security Assistant : HSC/Graduate + Typing knowledge.

Junior Operator : HSC / ITI (Computer Operator).

City Engineer : B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) + experience.

Gynecologist : MBBS + MD/MS (Gynecology).

Piki Phone (Field Worker) : HSC/Graduate.

Age Limit :
Age relaxation and limits will be applicable as per Gujarat Government rules.
No relaxation for General category candidates.
Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS (Women) and PwD candidates.
Ex-servicemen: as per applicable government norms.

Application Fee :
Fee must be paid at the Post Office only before 02/06/2026 (15:00 hrs).
Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
General (UR) : As per official notification.
SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwD : Fee relaxation as per Gujarat Government rules.

Selection Process :
Stage 1: Merit-based shortlisting.
Stage 2: Written examination (MCQ type).
Stage 3: Physical Efficiency / Endurance Test (Fire posts only).
Stage 4: Document verification.
Final selection will be based on merit and selection committee decision.
