Educatio Qualifications :
Applicants must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized AICTE/UGC-approved institution ;
ME / M.Tech.
BE / B.Tech.
B.Sc Engineering (4-year program).
MCA.
Minimum requirement: Pass class for all categories including SC/ST/PwBD candidate
Eligible Branches Include ;
Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication, Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science, MCA.
The discipline mentioned in the degree certificate must exactly correspond with the advertised specialization.
CGPA / Credit System Conversion ;
Candidates whose academic results are in CGPA or credit format must produce a valid conversion document issued by their university converting CGPA into percentage. Failure to submit this proof will lead to rejection of the application.

Experience Requirements :

Field Operation Engineer (FOE) :
Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in areas such as ;
Networking operations.
Data center management.
Database administration.
Expected technical expertise includes ;
Routing & switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP), firewall systems, AAA servers, VLAN configuration, EtherChannel, DNS, NTP, Linux fundamentals, IP addressing, subnetting, and CCNA-level networking concepts.

Project Engineer-I :
Must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in similar domains mentioned above.
Experience Not Accepted.
The following will not be treated as valid professional experience ;
Teaching or academic roles.
Research-based employment.
Banking or financial sector jobs.
NGO / non-profit organizations.
Internship or training completed as part of academic curriculum.

Employment Conditions for Existing Employees :
Current BEL employees must provide a signed Intimation Letter from HR
Applying laterally for the same designation within BEL is strictly prohibited.
Government/PSU employees must submit a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application or interview.

Age Criteria (as on 01-06-2026) :
Position Maximum Age Limit.
FOE 40 years (UR/EWS).
Project Engineer-I : 32 years (UR/EWS).

Relaxation Rules :
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years.
SC/ST: +5 years.
PwBD: +10 years (additional relaxation as per rules).

Application Fee Details
Fees must be paid online via SBI Collect before submitting the application.
FOE : ₹450 + 18% GST : SC / ST / PwBD.
Project Engineer-I : ₹400 + 18% GST SC / ST / PwBD
Separate payment is mandatory for each post applied.

Recruitment Process :
Selection will be conducted through a pre-registered walk-in evaluation process at designated centers.
Stage 1: Written Examination + Interview ;
Written Test: 85% weightage.
Interview: 15% weightage.
Candidates shortlisted for interview in a 1:10 ratio based on merit and category.
Interview may be conducted on the same day or shortly after written results.
Final Selection ;
Results will be published on the official BEL website and communicated via registered email.
Verification & Medical Requirements.
Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification and provide medical compliance documents at the time of joining.

Insurance Coverage :
FOE: ₹2 lakh medical insurance + ₹10 lakh life cover.
Project Engineer-I: ₹2 lakh medical insurance + ₹5 lakh life cover.

Candidates Not Eligible to Apply :
Applicants should avoid applying if they ;
Expect permanent government/PSU employment (this is contractual only).
Do not meet required experience criteria.
Are fresh graduates or under-qualified.
Have mismatched academic specialization.
Exceed the age limit even by a single day.
Are unwilling to travel or relocate for project work.
Previously applied laterally for the same BEL post.
Cannot provide required NOC or HR intimation letter.
Lack valid CGPA conversion documentation.
Rely on non-eligible experience such as internships or academic roles.
