Eligibility Criteria and General Requirements :
Candidates applying for Balangir District Court Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the prescribed educational qualifications, technical skill requirements, language proficiency, and other eligibility conditions applicable to the respective post.
Applicants must ;
Be citizens of India.
Be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently.
Have passed an Odia language examination equivalent to M.E. standard.
Be physically fit and possess good moral character.
Not have more than one living spouse at the time of application.
Educational Qualification & Technical Eligibility :
The required academic qualifications and technical competencies differ according to the post applied for.
Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist : Graduation (+3) or equivalent from a recognized university and Diploma in Computer Application.
Junior Typist : Graduation (+3) or equivalent from a recognized university and Diploma in Computer Application with English typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
Stenographer Grade-III : Graduation (+3) or equivalent from a recognized university and Diploma in Computer Application with shorthand speed of 80 WPM and typing speed of 40 WPM.
Salaried Amin : Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board Computer operation knowledge and Revenue Inspector Training certificate.
Salary Structure :
Candidates selected for the respective posts will receive pay as per Odisha Government pay matrix levels.
Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist : ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-4).
Junior Typist : ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-4).
Stenographer Grade-III : ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-7).
Salaried Amin : ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Level-5).
Age Criteria :
Applicants must fall within the prescribed age range as on 24 June 2026.
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 42 years.
Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation as per Odisha Government rules and applicable service regulations.
General / SEBC : 18–42 years.
SC / ST Relaxation as per Government provisions.
PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Sports Persons As per applicable State Government norms.

All Categories : No Fee.
No examination or application fee is required for any applicant.
Candidates Who Are Not Eligible to Apply :
The following candidates should not apply for Balangir District Court Recruitment 2026 ;
Applicants who do not possess Graduation qualification for Clerk, Typist, or Stenographer posts.
Candidates who have not passed Matriculation for the Salaried Amin post.
Candidates lacking mandatory computer application qualification where required.
Salaried Amin applicants without Revenue Inspector Training certification.
Candidates unable to demonstrate Odia language proficiency.
Typist/Stenographer applicants not meeting required typing or shorthand speed standards.
Candidates outside the prescribed age limit without valid relaxation eligibility.
Individuals having more than one living spouse.
Government or PSU employees unable to furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Candidates intending to appear for multiple post examinations scheduled on the same day.
Application Procedure (Offline Mode) :
Applications must be submitted only through offline mode using the prescribed format. Online applications will not be accepted.
Candidates should ;
Fill the prescribed Form-A carefully in their own handwriting.
Sign the application form wherever required.
Attach all supporting certificates and documents.
Submit separate applications for each post applied for.

Declaration regarding marital status.
Undertaking regarding no criminal antecedents.

Two original character certificates from Gazetted Officers/Medical Practitioners/Sarpanch.
No Objection Certificate for Government/PSU employees.

Diploma in Computer Application certificate.
Revenue Inspector Training certificate.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
Reserved category/disability certificates (if applicable).
Odia language proof (if applicable).
Sports/Ex-Servicemen certificate or ID proof (if applicable).
Declaration regarding marital status.
Undertaking regarding absence of criminal background.
Three recent passport-size photographs.
Three self-addressed envelopes with postage stamps.
Two original character certificates.
No Objection Certificate (for Government/PSU employees).

Important Instructions for Applicants :
Mention the post name clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS on both the application form and envelope.
Separate applications and document sets are mandatory for each post.
Written examinations for all posts will be conducted on the same date; candidates can appear for only one examination.
Applications received after 5:00 PM on 24 June 2026 will not be accepted.
Applications submitted through unauthorized modes will be rejected.
Incomplete applications or missing documents may lead to disqualification without notice.
Submission of false certificates or misleading information may invite legal action.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending examinations or skill tests.
