Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must be Indian citizens (as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India) and permanent residents of Assam.
Domicile proof must be provided through ;
Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam, or
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.

Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Candidates must upload ;
All academic mark sheets (semester/year-wise).
Final degree certificate.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026) :
General: 21–38 years.
OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years.
SC/ST: Up to 43 years.
Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years (as per applicable relaxations).

Application Fee :
General : ₹297.20.
OBC/MOBC : ₹197.20.
SC/ST/BPL/PwBD : ₹47.20.
Fee includes processing charges.
Payment must be made online only.

Pay Scale :
₹22,000 – ₹97,000 (Pay Band-3).
Grade Pay: ₹11,800.
Additional allowances as per Assam Government rules.

Selection Process :
Selection will be conducted in multiple stages ;
Written Examination (200 marks).
Objective test covering general aptitude, reasoning, science, current affairs, history, polity, and geography.
Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Medical Examination as per prescribed rules.
Interview / Personality Test (50 marks).
Final Merit List based on written exam + interview performance.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Male ;
100m: 16 seconds.
800m: 3 min 45 sec.
Long Jump: 3.5 m.
Female ;
100m: 18 seconds.
800m: 4 min 45 sec.
Long Jump: 3.0 m.
Physical Standards.
Height ;
Male (General/OBC/SC): 165 cm.
Female (General/OBC/SC): 157 cm.
ST (P/H): Male 162 cm, Female 152.4 cm.
Chest (Male): 80–85 cm (as per category).
Vision: 6/6 and 6/9 without correction.
