Eligibility Criteria :
The posts are reserved for experienced advocates practicing in Tamil Nadu Courts ;

Public Prosecutor : Advocate with a minimum of 7 years of practice in Tamil Nadu Courts.

Government Pleader : Advocate with a minimum of 7 years of practice in Tamil Nadu Courts.

Additional Government Pleader cum Additional Public Prosecutor : Advocate with at least 7 years of practice in Tamil Nadu Courts.

Special Public Prosecutor : Advocate with a minimum of 10 years of practice.

Pleader handling Government work : Advocate with a minimum of 7 years of practice.

Additional Government Pleader: Advocate with a minimum of 7 years of practice.

Special Public Prosecutor (SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989) : Advocate with a minimum of 10 years of practice.

Special Public Prosecutor (Human Rights Act cases) : Advocate with a minimum of 10 years of practice.

Selection Process :
Selection for Ariyalur District Court will be conducted through ;
Scrutiny of applications.
Preparation of panel by the competent authority.
